Anti-rabies vaccination and Electronic Identification of dogs in the parishes of the Municipality of Paredes will take place from May 2nd to September 14th, with the supervision of the Municipal Veterinary Doctor.
The Parish of Paredes receives today, May 2nd, the first concentration for the vaccination of animals and placement of microchips, starting at 2:30 pm, next to the Besteiros football field.
In addition to the times and locations available in the list below*, the vaccination and electronic identification service can also be carried out at the Official Animal Collection Center in Paredes (Ecocentro de Cristelo), on working Wednesdays, between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm, or at the Vaccination Station at Feira de Paredes, on October 17th, November 14th and December 10th, between 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm. The vaccination service in these locations requires prior booking through the following contacts: 255 788 996 or 255 781 013.
The vaccine costs 10.00 euros, the vaccine and microchip costs 12.50 euros. The Health Bulletin fee is 1.00 euros.
Remember that Rabies Vaccination is mandatory for all dogs three months of age or older, in accordance with the National Plan for the Control and Surveillance of Rabies and other Zoonoses.
This vaccination aims to prevent serious diseases and is essential for the health of animals and also the health of their owners.
