According to the most recent analysis of the Edenred Ticket Log (IPTL) Price Index, the value of a liter of diesel remains stable in the country at the end of April. In this context, it is possible to state that regular fuel was available for an average of R$5.99, registering an increase of 0.17% compared to the first half of the month. Meanwhile, S-10 type fuel was sold for R$6.09, reflecting an increase of 0.16%.
“When we compare the consolidated data for April with that for March, we identify that the stability trend continues. In the previous month, the common type closed at R$5.96 and the S-10 at R$6.07”, highlights Douglas Pina, General Director of Mobility at Edenred Brasil.
Stations in the Northeast lead the diesel increases, with the common type reaching R$6.07 (increase of 1%) and S-10 reaching R$6.09 (increase of 0.66%). The only drop, of 0.15%, occurred in the North Region for S-10 diesel. In other regions, increases varied between 0.15% and 0.17%, or remained stable since the first half of April. In the North Region, the highest prices were for both types of diesel: R$6.58 for regular diesel and R$6.47 for S-10. In the South Region, the lowest prices were found, with the common price at R$5.86 and the S-10 at R$5.89.
Rondônia had the biggest reduction in the price of regular diesel in the country, decreasing 8.42% to close at R$6.31. The cheapest common diesel was found in Tocantins, at R$5.83. Bahia recorded the biggest increase in the price of regular diesel, 1.54%, closing at R$5.95, while Amapá had the highest average, reaching R$7.22.
In Amapá, the most expensive S-10 diesel was sold for R$7.28. Bahia also had the biggest increase for S-10 diesel, 1.33%, closing at R$6.10. The biggest reduction for this fuel, 0.33%, was observed in Rio Grande do Norte, where it was sold for R$6.01. Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná shared the lowest average, at R$5.88.
