O journalist Roberto Cabrini remembered how it was experience of covering Ayrton Senna’s fatal accident live, on May 1, 1994, at the San Marino GP, in Imola, Italy. He was one of the guests at Earth Now this Thursday, 2nd.

“I’ve never seen a weekend with those characteristics in Formula 1. I could tell the accident was very serious due to the reaction of the paramedics and the amount of blood,” he explained.

Cabrini also recalled the unofficial conversation he had with Senna that weekend. The Brazilian pilot reported that the Austrian Rolland Ratzenberger He died on the track and not in the hospital. Follow the program in full here.
