Hyundai prepares the launch of new Creta with 1.6 turbo engine. The debut, however, is only scheduled for the first half of next year. And while the model inspired by the Indian car does not arrive, the South Korean brand presents the 2025 SUV line with slight touches. With that, from now on, It will no longer be possible to buy a Creta for less than R$140,000.

The Creta 2025 received specific changes to the equipment list. The entry-level version, Comfort Plus, now offers a leather-covered steering wheel with shift paddles, a face-to-face key with push-button engine start. With these additions, O compact SUV rose from R$137,990 to R$140,090. In other words, R$2,100 difference.

The configuration Platinum Safety now comes with a sunroof as standard – previously sold as an option for R$6,700. The model also gets a front parking sensor in the list of features. Therefore, the price was updated to R$170,290. It’s around R$10,000 more than the previous version without the sunroof.

A detail that draws attention is that, with the addition of equipment in the intermediate configuration, Hyundai removed the “Platinum” version from the linewithout the surname Safety, which was less equipped.

Under the hood, there have been no changes whatsoever. Two engine options remain. The first of them brings the 1.0 three-cylinder turbo, which delivers 120 hp of power and 17.5 kgfm of torque. The second option, restricted to the Ultimate configuration, is with the 2.0 aspirated four-cylinder engine that offers 167 hp and 20.6 kgfm of torque. The transmission, in both cases, is always a six-speed automatic.

Hyundai also took the opportunity to extend the “free trial” period of the connectivity system, Bluelink. It went from three to five years. The period, according to the brand, is valid from the purchase of the car and includes functions such as tracking, monitoring, voice commands and the “Smart Camera 360°” system, which allows you to view the surroundings of the car using your smartphone.
