As you may know, despite the fact that Apple still dominates the world of smartphones in terms of sales, especially in the higher ranges, the reality is that the rules of the game are changing, and therefore, if the North American giant responsible by iPhone wants to continue growing, it will have to adapt to a new world.
This is especially true when we take into account that the most important product in Apple’s range is the iPhone, and that the rest… Well… It’s losing a lot of steam, this is very noticeable on the laptop side, and in case you didn’t know, also on the tablet side.
This is exactly why there are very well outlined plans to give rise to an iPhone SE 4, and apparently, these plans will be replicated for a new, cheaper iPad.
Apple wants to lower the entry price into the ecosystem!
Therefore, a lot has been said about the new iPad Pro and Air, which should refresh Apple’s tablet at the highest end of the market. However, the truth is that Apple also needs to look at the lower ranges! Especially since it is one of the most important forces in the tablet world today.
This is exactly why, in addition to the iPhone SE 4, after increasing the price of the cheapest iPad for years on end, the apple giant also appears to be ready to launch an iPad for around €400. Possibly an iPad SE, in order to take advantage of the wave of enthusiasm that the iPhone SE 4 should bring to the mobile world sometime in 2025. (Probably early 2025!)
We have to wait and see what all this will lead to. Especially because this subject should not yet be touched on at this May’s event. However, one thing is certain, Apple is increasingly concerned about the price of its products, which is always good news for the consumer.
