Taiwan receives first Bosch-powered electric bikes thanks to Tern

Although electric cars are at the center of the debate, there are other ways to ensure greener mobility, namely electric bicycles. Now, Taiwan is receiving the first signed by Bosch, thanks to the company Tern.

E-bikes equipped with Bosch mid-drive electric motors already exist in almost all markets. However, not in all. After all, there are relevant markets that are only now discovering units for the first time.

An example of this is Taiwan, which is receiving Bosch engineering quality in the Tern company's Vektron and Quick Haul e-bikes.

As recalled by Electrek, Tern's Bosch-powered e-bikes have an international reputation for quality and longevity. However, until now, the company's domestic market has only had access to its folding bikes, not electric ones.

Now, Tern is launching Vektron and Quick Haul electric bicycles in Taiwan, bringing the first Bosch electric bicycles to the island.

Taiwan is the world's epicenter for quality bicycles and the country has made great progress in promoting bicycles for leisure and transportation.

With a large portion of the Tern team members living in Taiwan, it was easy for us to raise our hands when Bosch suggested entering the Taiwan market.

Said Josh Hon, Tern Team Captain.
