The vintage Mios that collectors choose are only those that have been sought after for a few years, so their prices can reach tens of millions. One of them is the Mio 5TL or first edition which still has a carburetor.
Born in 2003, this scooter is available between 10 million and tens of millions of IDR on online shopping sites. This price is in restored and modified condition.

Yamaha Indonesia considers the old Mio popular again these days. Because it all comes down to individual taste.
“It’s the same for discontinued items. There are still people who love Mio models,” said Asst GM Marketing & Relations PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) Antonius Vidianto in Solo, Saturday, May 4, 2024.
“But it comes down to taste, maybe not all people like these blurbs,” he said.

Originally designed for women, this scooter is now widely used by men. And now, old Mios are even used as collectibles or sometimes just for nostalgia.
