The Lagos City Council approved the opening of a public tender for the construction of another housing building, this time in Barão de São João.

According to the municipality, it is a multi-family building, which represents an investment of more than 807 thousand euros.

The objective is to “add six T2 and T3 dwellings to the municipal housing stock and contribute to strengthening the public response aimed at the most pressing needs felt in the municipality”.

The building, to be built on lot 23 of the Barão de São João municipal subdivision, is foreseen in the Local Housing Strategy and is part of the Lagos municipality’s candidacy for the 1st Law Program (state program financed with funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan ), being part, says the city council, of the “group of the first 47 dwellings to be allocated, out of a total of 260 new dwellings at affordable prices that will be built”. Global investment reaches 48 million euros
