The team of judicial police officers from the 12th Police Subdivision of Jacarezinho spared no effort to solve this terrible crime. Three men, aged between 26 and 49, were arrested in connection with the crime and taken to Deppen. According to police authorities, the murder was motivated by an argument the victim had with his ex-wife in the early hours of Sunday, in which neighbors intervened. A relative of the woman, summoned to the scene, devised the plan and recruited two more accomplices.
Diego’s room was broken into and he was shot while he slept, suffering several blows to the head that resulted in his death. The crime scene, marked by extreme violence, shocked those present, leaving an aura of fear and consternation in the neighborhood.
The Jacarezinho Civil Police highlights that, despite initial reports of homicides without perpetrators in 2024, all cases were solved by the investigation team, demonstrating the corporation’s professionalism and commitment to resolving serious cases that afflict and frighten the community.
