The Rally de Portugal spectacle is returning to the Center region.
Today and tomorrow, the best drivers in the world of this type of motor sport will be in the Central region.
The rally party starts today, at 5pm, in Coimbra. The city of students this year does not have any Special or Super Special, but it will once again welcome all the drivers who will compete in the 57th edition of the Rally de Portugal.
Coimbra organizes the official opening ceremony, on Avenida de Conímbriga, in Santa Clara.
After the official start, the drivers and the entire rally caravan are transferred to Figueira da Foz.
At the end of the afternoon, Claridade beach will host the first Super Special of the 2024 edition of the rally. Starting at 7:05 p.m., riders will have to cover 2.94 kilometers. This year the route is set up again next to the Santa Catarina Fort, taking advantage of the nearby car park and continuing on Avenida de Espanha, but has some changes compared to last year.
Tomorrow the party is in four other municipalities
Tomorrow the Portugal Rally leaves the city and will pass through the municipalities of Mortágua, Lousã, Góis and Arganil.
In 2024, the Rally of Portugal will be in the Center region over more than 126 kilometers.
The show starts at 8:05 am in Mortágua, with a length of 18.15 kilometers. The rally continues in Lousã, at 9:35 am, in Góis, at 10:35 am, and at 11:35 am it will be in Arganil.
