A woman was arrested on Wednesday (8), in the Tancredo Neves neighborhood, in Salvador, for the murder of her partner, military police officer Fábio Nascimento Cintra. The crime occurred in 2011, but she had been on the run since June last year, when the arrest warrant was issued.

According to information from the Civil Police, investigations by the 2nd Homicide Police Station (DH/Central) showed that the PM was surprised by his then partner, whose identity was not revealed, when he was leaving home, in the Tancredo Neves neighborhood.

“Affronted by the victim’s decision to separate, the woman fired a gunshot that ended up fatally striking Fabio”, informed the director of the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP), delegate Andréa Ribeiro.

Upon compliance with the arrest order, issued by the 2nd Court of the 1st Court of the Jury Court of the District of Salvador, the woman underwent a corpus delicti examination and was sent to the Interstate Police Coordination (Polinter), where she will be at the disposal of the Court. .

The arrest was the 39th as part of Operation Argus. According to delegate Andréa Ribeiro, the application of technological resources helped to locate the suspect.
