OPPO A60 is official with adjusted price and interesting specifications

OPPO A60 has 48 months creep protection.

The Chinese manufacturer OPPO announced a new mid-range device, and we are talking about the new OPPO A60 which the company defines as “premium and functional“. Because it is a mid-range smartphonethe device has very interesting technical specifications considering that it has a cost price below 200 euros.

Thus, this new OPPO A60 has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution, with 1604×720 pixels, and a variable refresh rate between 60 and 90Hz. This screen, which has a body-to-screen ratio of 89.9%, has a maximum brightness of 950 nits.

Inside we have a Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 680, which means it does not support 5G networks. This chip is accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card of up to 1TB. Still inside we have a 5000mAh battery with support for fast wired charging, through its 45W USB-S port, which promises to charge 50% of the battery in just 30 minutes, while 100% is reached in 69 minutes. This set, and according to OPPO, made the OPPO A60 pass the “48-month creep protection“, thus ensuring that you will have fluidity for at least 48 months.

On the photography side, this new OPPO smartphone has a dual camera system on the rear, in which the main sensor has 50MP and f/1.8 aperture and is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. At the front we have an 8MP sensor, with f/2.0 aperture.

OPPO A60 hits the market for less than 200 euros

To control all this, the OPPO A60 leaves the factory running the ColorOS 14its interface which is based on Android 14. Other notable notes are the fact that the device has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side, next to the Power button and IP54 certification against dust and splashes.

At the time this article is being written, this OPPO A60 has not yet been listed in the company’s online store in Portugal, but it is already available in many European stores for 199.99 euros. It is available in Ripple Blue and Midnight Purple.
