The complaint against those responsible for the death of Rio councilor Marielle Franco, sent by the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) to the Federal Supreme Court (STF) also points to the participation of two more people who were subject to an arrest warrant this Thursday by the Federal Police.

They are: Robson Calixto da Fonseca, known as Peixe, and military police officer Ronald Alves de Paula. Robson is an advisor to Domingos Brazão, while Ronaldo is appointed head of a militia that operated in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.

In the complaint, the PGR denounces Calixto as a member of the criminal organization that planned the attack against the councilor, while the soldier is named as one of the participants in the homicide, carried out by former military police officer Ronnie Lessa.

Both were included in the PGR complaint that accuses the Brazão brothers and the former head of the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro, Rivaldo Barbosa, of being the masterminds behind the murder of councilwoman Marielle Franco in March 2018. The attacker also victimized the driver of the parliamentarian, Anderson Gomes.

According to the Federal Police, Calixto was arrested in Rio de Janeiro, while Ronald is serving his sentence in federal prison. According to the PF, Calixto will undergo a custody hearing and will be sent to the prison system this Thursday (9).
