An accident involving an Army truck caused the death of three men on Wednesday night (8). Two other people were injured in the collision of the cargo vehicle with a car.
The case occurred around 6:30 pm, at kilometer 3, towards Interior-Capital. The Army vehicle was traveling in the opposite direction when it collided with the passenger vehicle. The victims were occupants of the car.
The injured, who were also in this vehicle, were taken to Gravataí Hospital. There is no information on their health status.
BR-448 was open for traffic in the morning. The section where the accident occurred remained blocked until the investigation was completed. An inquiry is investigating the circumstances of the accident.

Late this Wednesday afternoon (08), at 6:25 pm, at km 3 of BR-448, in Esteio/RS, a head-on collision occurred between a car and an Army truck. Three men died and two others were taken in serious condition to Gravataí, by Firefighters and SAMU teams. All were occupants of the passenger vehicle.
The dynamics of the accident, as well as all the circumstances of the occurrence, are being investigated by the IGP (General Institute of Expertise), the Army (through a Military Police Inquiry) and the PRF, which will produce the Traffic Accident Expert Report.
