PAulinho seems to be at Sporting’s exit door. The 31-year-old Portuguese international has received several surveys from abroad, from Turkey to Saudi Arabia, and already knows that the Leonine management will not put any major obstacles in the way of the deal if it is done for an amount of around 10 million euros, reveals the newspaper A BOLA, in this Friday’s edition.
The Sporting administration’s idea is to recover part of the investment made in 2021, when it paid 16 million euros to Sp. Braga to sign Paulinho.
Furthermore, those responsible for Leo are also looking at the current contract, valid for another two seasons, and the age of the Portuguese player, with this summer being the last opportunity to make a significant financial contribution.
In turn, Paulinho has the possibility of signing his first adventure abroad at the same time as he will obtain a contract financially much superior to the one he has in force with Sporting.
With 19 goals in 44 games, the player from Barcelos is having the best individual season for Sporting, having already surpassed the highest mark for accurate shots in Alvalade.
