Paulinho may be leaving Sporting. The Leonine forward has attracted the interest of clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia and the green and white SAD should not greatly complicate the player’s possible departure.
According to this Friday’s edition of the newspaper ‘A Bola’, the Alvalade club set the minimum value at 10 million euros for which they are willing to negotiate with those potentially interested in the 31-year-old player.
The same source adds that Sporting’s objective is to recover the majority of the amount invested in the player in 2021, when it spent 16 million euros to sign him from SC Braga in the winter market.
Furthermore, Sporting sees this as the ideal time to sell the Lions’ number ’20’, taking into account not only his 31 years, but also the fact that he only has two years left on his contract. For his part, Paulinho will have the opportunity to take on a new challenge, also seeing his financial situation improve considerably.
Paulinho is probably having his best season since arriving at Sporting, registering 19 goals and 6 assists in 44 official games so far.
