A capybara on the road caused an accident between three vehicles and one of them ended up catching fire on BR-354, in Iguatama, in the Center-West of MG. At least two people were injured and taken to the hospital on Thursday night (9).

According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the 43-year-old driver of a Gol said he was traveling along the highway when he ran over the capybara and ended up losing control of the steering wheel.

He then collided head-on with a Beetle, which ended up on the side of the road and caught fire. Still in the sequence, the goal also hit the side of Onix, which was heading in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Gol and the passenger of the Onix, aged 46, suffered minor injuries and were rescued by the Fire Department. The capybara that was run over died at the scene.
