UFC 304 is scheduled to take place in Manchester, England on July 27th, and it now appears that top ten flyweight contenders Muhammad Mokaev and Manel Kape will face off on the main card.
Mokaev is on an 11-0 streak in professional MMA, with 6 wins in the UFC, and most recently scored a unanimous decision victory over Alex Perez in March. Likewise, Kape is on a rough patch, recording wins in his last 4 fights. But, a series of canceled appearances has resulted in an inevitable lack of activity, with his last fight taking place in September 2023.
News of the clash was revealed by Mokaev earlier this week on social media, and it was later reported by MMA Junkie that there is a verbal agreement in place. But at this time the fight has not been made official by the promotion.

UFC 304 will be the organization’s first trip to England this year, and the card is starting to look good. Furthermore, the fights will be the first sporting event to take place under the bright lights of Co-op Live, the UK’s largest indoor arena.
With news of the card’s main fight between England’s Arnold Allen and Giga Chikadze also arriving last week, it looks like the card is set to fill up quickly in the coming weeks.
