Today, May 10th, is the deadline for registrations for the Rampa Regional da Matur – Cidade de Machico, a race organized by the 100 à Hora da Madeira automobile club that will take place on the 17th and 18th of May.
The third race of the AMAK 2024 Regional Ramps Trophy will take place on ER 224, between Água de Pena and Santo da Serra and presents an altered route compared to the past, now covering a length of 5.11 km, 860 meters more than than previously.
The location of the goal remains unchanged, but the start is now placed lower, just after the junction of ER 224 with the internal road of the Matur urbanization.
The race, with a difference in level of 510 meters, maintains the previous average slope of 10%. The operational center and assistance park will be at the Água de Pena Sports Park.
The program envisages carrying out the initial administrative and technical checks on the afternoon of Friday, May 17th, at the Água de Pena Sports Park, facilities that will also host the awards ceremony at the end of the following day.
The event goes on the road on Saturday, May 18, with six climbs, two reconnaissance, at 8:50 am and 10:30 am, and four official climbs, at 12:10 pm, 1:55 pm, 3:40 pm and 5:30 pm.
