The initiative is by students in the fourth year of the Performing Arts course at UEL (State University of Londrina) and is directed by the professor from the Department of Performing Arts, Tereza Margarida Vine. “Inhabit me” is an artistic expression that combines movement, music and narrative referring to the four elements of nature, aiming to show ways to consecrate and preserve life on planet earth.
According to Ailton Fernandes, one of the students who will perform the show, the theme was decided based on studies on the ancestry of each of the members.
“We use the four elements of nature and figures from Brazilian culture. A way of consecrating the existence and strength of humanity in connection with the spiritual,” he explains.
Fire, water, air and earth will be covered through studies with sensory questions. “How does the fire burn within you? How does water move you? Based on the members’ responses, we created rehearsed choreographies”, says Ailton. With this, the aim is to raise reflections on nature’s resistance to deforestation and pollution, “warning the public that humanity has lost the essence of compassion for the world it inhabits”.
Entry to the show is free. Guests can contribute a cat sachet to animal care centers, such as Gotas de Luz. The ticket is physical and will be available at Ceca (Center for Education, Communication and Art), in addition to being available at the Ouro box office Green two hours before the start of the performance.
