find out which films are nominated for the Palme d’Or

O Cannes Festival starts next Tuesday (14) and we tell you everything that will happen at the awards. The event is known for the Palme d’Or trophy, one of the most prestigious in the film industry. In fact, it is worth highlighting that the award jury is made up of several professionals in the field from different countries.

This year, Cannes takes place between May 14th and 25th. However, the event will not be shown to the public, without any type of live broadcast.

For this year’s edition, the jury selected 19 feature films to compete for the Palme d’Or. Among the main highlights we have “Kinds of Kindness”by Yorgos Lanthimos — director of “Poor Creatures”, “Megalopolis“, considered the life work of Francis Ford Coppola, and “Destination Motel“, Brazilian film starring Fábio Assunção.
