Renato Santos, a street sweeper from Ceilândia, in the Federal District, achieved his goal of returning from Europe with a gold medal. On his first international trip, the athlete won the World Karate Championships, world karate championship held between March 21st and 24th in Malta, Europe.
He also won a silver team trophy and a bronze trophy at the International Open
