Lifeguards in helicopter are thrown into the sea to rescue tourist who fell off the coast

A 17-year-old tourist was saved by lifeguards afters falling from rocks into the sea in Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo. Images obtained by g1, this Wednesday (3), show the moment in which the teenager is rescued by agents from the Maritime Fire Brigade (GBMar) who were thrown from a helicopter (watch above).

According to GBMar, the victim was a resident of Guarulhos (SP) and was in the coastal region of Praia do Pernambuco when he fell into the sea. The Águia 06 Helicopter team, which was on preventive patrol, was called.

Also according to the group, the aircraft began an approach flight to launch the lifeguards. Two professionals were thrown into the water and managed to reach the victim to carry out the rescue, last Sunday (31).

The tourist was removed from the sea without drowning. According to GBMar, she was released by the lifeguards after providing the personal data necessary to record the incident.
