The success of the youngest billionaire in the world, according to “Forbes”, is the result of her minority stake in the industrial machinery multinational “Weg”, co-founded by her late grandfather, Werner Ricardo Voigt. Currently, Livia Voigt is studying psychology at a university – her name was not disclosed by the magazine.
His older sister, Dora Voigt de Assis, 26, also appears on the list of the 10 youngest billionaires in the world with a similar fortune. Both have 3.1% of the company, which is one of the largest manufacturers of electric motors in the world.
For the first time, all the billionaires on the list, under the age of 30, are heirs. The richest among them are the Mistry brothers from Ireland, aged 25 and 27. They have around US$4.9 billion (R$24.7 billion) each, coming from minority stakes in the IT and communications company Tata Sons, after the death of their father, Cyrus Mistry.
Still according to the “Forbes” ranking, the majority of the youngest billionaires are from Europe: 15. The other 10 are from Brazil, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan and the USA.
