The series’ cast was released for other projects while the scripts for the third season are reworked by Sam Levinson

It wasn’t just fans of Euphoria (2019) who were disappointed with the decision of the HBO to postpone the recording of the third season. One of the stars of the attraction, the actress Storm Reid — who interprets Gia Bennett — commented on the current stage of production.

In an interview with Variety, she expressed hope that the series would return, but was disappointed with the latest events, which, for her, were not completely surprising. “I hope that the viewers, the public, are able to finish the series,” he said Reid. “I think we should handle the project carefully. We put our hearts and souls into it.”

She also spoke about the moment she received the news that the recording of the third season would not take place in 2024. When asked if she was caught off guard, she said “yes and no. We all hope to be able to return in the future, but there are logistics that it needs to be resolved. So while it’s a little disappointing, I’m not surprised.”
