Mother Wraps Newborns in Aluminum Shoe Boxes, Puts Them in a Cooler, and Is Free From Charges

A woman wrapped her four newborn children in aluminum foil, placed them in shoe boxes and hid them in a freezer for more than 10 years in the North American city of Boston, USA. The 69-year-old mother will not be charged with a crime, according to the Sky News.
The bodies were found by the wife of the babies’ uncle, two boys and two girls, on November 17, 2022, while cleaning her sister-in-law’s house.
According to investigators, no criminal charges were filed against the woman, as it was not certain whether the babies were born alive or dead, which removes the mother from the crime scene. Furthermore, autopsies did not identify injuries on the corpses. The woman, according to the newspaper, has cognitive problems.
According to the investigation, the time and place of the babies’ birth and how the woman managed to hide the pregnancy is unknown. Her father died in 2011. The couple had another son who was given up for adoption.
