Sílvia Bronchalo, Daniel Sancho’s mother, is also contributing financially to support her son in prison. The revelation was made by the lawyer and Spanish actress.
Remember that the trial of Daniel Sancho, 29 years old, who is also the son of an actor, Rodolfo Sancho, came to an end this month, but the sentence will only be handed down in August. The young man is in pre-trial detention, after confessing to the murder and dismemberment of Colombian plastic surgeon Edwin Arrieta, in Thailand.
“Sílvia has not received any type of help and all the financial burdens she has borne – because she also covered and continues to cover her son Daniel’s prison expenses – are the product of her effort and work”, noted Carolina Castro, lawyer. The legal representative also clarified that Daniel’s defense is being supported by his father, which is why the young man’s mother always refers journalists to his lawyers.
The lawyer also says she is optimistic about the sentence, which will be read on August 29th, and which the parties will still be able to appeal: “Hope has never been lost and will never be lost. At the trial, some contradictions were demonstrated, some evidence was refuted and at least the truth was explained. Now, we must always be very cautious and prudent and avoid excesses of optimism or joy, because there will be time for that (once the sentence is pronounced, and if it is favorable – as we hope – for Daniel)“.
