Lisbon goes to Easter painted bright green with BCP in a maximum of three months
The Portuguese stock exchange said goodbye to the first quarter with a very slight gain, on a day when most of the main European markets were optimistic. European markets only resume trading on Tuesday.
The Lisbon stock exchange followed, albeit in a very modest way, the optimism experienced in the main European markets in the last session of the first quarter. The PSI gained 0.06%, to 6,280.50 points, with seven prices rising, seven falling and Greenvolt and REN closed unchanged.
BCP stood out with a rise of 2.46%, reaching 0.3126 euros, the highest closing value since December 8th. Also boosting the national index was Galp, which gained 1.19%, to 15,315 euros.
With robust increases, Semapa (1.92%) and Ibersol (1.5%) also closed.
Among the heavyweights, in addition to the bank and the oil company, Jerónimo Martins advanced 0.11%, to 18.38 euros.
The one who continues the negative trend is the EDP family. Today EDP Renováveis lost 2.79%, reaching 12,545 euros, while the parent company lost 0.28%, closing at 3.61 euros.
Mota-Engil also suffered a significant drop, falling 2.79% to 4.815 euros.
