O Businessman Elon Musk stated during the Abundance Summit event that there is a probability of no more than 20% that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will contribute to the extinction of humanity.
“I think there is some probability of [a Inteligência Artificial] end humanity. I probably agree with George Hinton that there is a 10% to 20% chance of this happening.”noted Elon Musk according to Business Insider.
Despite this, the multimillionaire businessman and owner of Tesla, SpaceX and the social network X still considers that the benefits created by AI are still greater than the potential risks. “I think that the positive scenario is probably greater than the negative”said Musk.
