A Smart presented a prototype of what will be #5, the brand’s largest SUV to date. It will fit into the premium segment and, for now, we can imagine it when we see the prototype that could be seen for the first time at the China Motor Show.
Exact technical details were not revealed, but the electrical technology is 800V, which allows for a battery with more than 100 kWh of capacity. This will translate into a range of up to 549 km, and the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 15 minutes.
There is no information about the engines, just that the #5 prototype has five driving modes available.
In the images above you can see details of the exterior and interior design. The highlight is the cabin with two screens, one for the driver and one for the passenger.
