O new Honda Civic Type R, available in Portugal since 2023, sold out all units initially allocated to Portugal in just 72 hours. In an effort with the parent company, Honda Portugal Automóveis managed to ensure the arrival of 10 more units for the national market, which have now started to arrive in Portugal.
These units will be delivered to national customers by the end of the year.
The Civic Type-R is powered by an “evolved” version of the 2.0-liter turbocharged 17YM engine seen in the previous model, mated to an improved six-speed manual gearbox. In terms of power, it has 329 hp and 420 Nm of torque.
Regarding performance, the Honda Civic Type-R accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and has a maximum speed of 275 km/h.
