One of Tesla’s strengths is FSD (Full Self-Driving), even with all the problems it has faced over time. This is a unique help that the brand has when driving, although limited to the USA. FSD may be coming to more countries
Tesla has one of its best proposals for its cars in the FSD. This driving aid can now guide the brand's electric cars automatically and ensure that the user is safe. This is not a perfect system and lawsuits against the brand have grown over time.
With (almost) exclusive use in the USA, FSD has been improved and won over Tesla electric car drivers. It is not yet completely autonomous driving, but it can already guarantee unique autonomy in its field of activity. With this certainty, Elon Musk now seems to want to bring FSD to more countries, with Europe as the horizon.

Elon Musk revealed Tesla plans
The Tesla strongman revealed late last week that Tesla believes supervised software could be ready to debut in LHD (left-hand-drive) regions. Furthermore, and even with this new feature being revealed, it is guaranteed that it will not yet be ready to be launched in the RHD (right-hand-drive) markets.
LHD countries are those where the driver sits on the left side of the car and drives on the right side of the road, such as the USA and Canada. Most European countries are LHD, in addition to China, which is a key market for Tesla and where the brand has invested heavily.

Is Portugal on this list?
Tesla has been independently testing FSD in other countries for a few years now. Last week, Tesla China also launched Enhanced Autopilot subscriptions, which many consider an important precursor to the launch of FSD.
It remains to be seen what Tesla's position will be like in Europe. Here, regulations are more demanding, but it is known that Elon Musk's brand is already carrying out tests and showing FSD to regulators. Approval in one country can facilitate the process, and it is certainly simple to extend to the rest.
