TAP Air Portugal will open applications to select new partner entities for the TAP Donate Miles program “Causas com Asas”, a social responsibility initiative that allows TAP Miles&Go Customers, TAP’s loyalty program, to donate miles that are then exchanged for air transport tickets and allow us to get help where it is most needed.

Currently, AMI, Helpo and Terra dos Sonhos are partner institutions for the 2022-2024 period. Applications for new partners for the 2024-2026 period take place between May 2nd and 31st via the online address https://www.flytap.com/pt-pt/miles-and-go/utilizar-milhas/doar-milhas.

Created in 2007, the TAP Donate Miles program has already helped more than 60 institutions, which benefited from millions of donated miles and enabled solidarity travel across the TAP network of destinations. Thus, the Company renews and expands the TAP Donate Miles program, supporting three more partners per year and offering even more miles.

Entities legally constituted in Portugal, registered and recognized as IPSS, NGO or NGDO, that develop or intend to develop non-profit social responsibility initiatives in Portugal and in other countries within the TAP network can apply.

The selected institutions receive, in the first year, one million miles offered by TAP. In addition to this donation, each entity has the opportunity to earn up to another million miles for each year of the partnership in donations made by TAP Miles&Go Program Customers.

Once the applications have been closed, TAP will select the entities whose projects suit the objectives defined by the Company within the scope of its sustainability route.
