A Foton will arrive in Portugal through a partnership with the JAP Group, which will thus assume the position of importer of the Chinese brand of electric vehicles.
The JAP Group will then be responsible for the import, distribution and technical assistance of Foton’s innovative light commercial vehicles (LCV). The sale of the various models will start this year, according to the brand’s statement.
Therefore, we will soon be able to see models such as the Foton Tunland G7 and Foton Toano in Portugal – you can see them in the photo gallery above.
“The partnership with the JAP Group represents another important step in FOTON’s implementation strategy in Europe. We are confident that, in the near future, we will be able to gain leadership in the electric commercial vehicle market in Portugal and contribute to global policy of carbon neutrality”, said Wu ZongTian, vice president of Foton International.
