1. What are the requirements to receive it?
“Be registered with the employment center, have worked at least 360 days in the last 24 months and apply within 90 days of the date of unemployment.”
2. How is it calculated?
“The amount corresponds to 65% of the reference remuneration, with a maximum of 1,273.15 euros in 2024. It can be increased in certain circumstances.”
3. How long does it last?
“The duration varies according to the age of the unemployed person and the period of Social Security contributions since the last unemployment situation.”
4. What documents are needed?
“It is necessary to present the application for unemployment benefits (completed online) and the declaration of unemployment status delivered to the employment center.”
5. How do I receive social unemployment benefit?
“Social unemployment benefit is granted to those who are not entitled to unemployment benefit due to insufficient time of deductions or exhaustion of this benefit. Beneficiaries must present proof of economic need to Social Security.”
