Ohe most recent data, provided by the Ministry of Finance to the News by the Minutereveal that they have already been paid 742 thousand IRS refunds to taxpayersbeing that the average term is 15 days. The guardianship ensures that the process is proceeding “normally”.
A source from the guardianship explained that “742 thousand reimbursements were paid, which correspond to a global amount exceeding 600 million euroswith an average period of 15 days”.
Asked about possible delays in reimbursements, the same source assured that the information available is that they “are proceeding normally and in accordance with the legally established deadlines“.
These data, it should be noted, relate to May 6th, when they had been “delivered more than 3.4 million model 3 income declarations (+1% than on the same day last year)”, according to the same source.
In last year’s campaign, remember, around six million IRS declarations were settled, of which 32.7% were submitted through Automatic IRS and 67.3% manually.
O The deadline for submitting the annual IRS declaration ends on June 30th, with the law determining that settlements must be completed by July 31st and refunds paid by August 31st.
The end of August is also the deadline for taxpayers who did not withhold at source or did so in an insufficient amount, to pay the tax determined by the Tax and Customs Authority (AT).
