In an interview, Chris Martin explains how the LED wristbands were developed for Coldplay concerts

In an interview with Venus Podcast, Chris Martin, vocalist of Coldplay, asked fans to return the LED wristbands used during the show because they are too expensive. The vocalist also told how the accessory changed the experience of doing shows.

“These bracelets have changed our lives because they have allowed us to make a real connection with people and have everyone be a part of it. [do show]”

Martin explains that the bracelet was developed 13 years ago by a man named jason, who used to make a drum set for “sex toys” and sold it to one of his producers, Phil.

We invested a lot of money. They are worth it because you see the crowd and they make the show different, but you should return them because they are really expensive.”

São Paulo has the lowest number of wristbands returned after the show

São Paulo was in last place in the ranking of wristbands returned after the Coldplay. The band distributed them to create a bright atmosphere with the fans during the performance and asks that they be returned for reuse.
