The name is a reference to the city where Meghan lives: Santa Barbara, California, known as the “American Riviera”. “Orchard” means “orchard” in English. The logo also includes the name Montecito, the neighborhood where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live.
This is the first time Meghan has appeared on social media since 2020. While they were active members of the royal family, she and Prince Harry had a joint account, Sussex Royal, which remains online, but has not been published since then. The couple did not create another profile after leaving royal duties.
Meghan already had a behavior blog from 2014 to 2017, “The Tig”. A source told People magazine that the actress closed the website to focus on the series “Suits” and her humanitarian work. Months later, however, Meghan became engaged to Prince Harry, officially joining the royal family. At the time, she also deactivated her personal profile, which had more than three million followers.

Kensington Palace announced that Kate underwent abdominal surgery in January and is not expected to return to work until after Easter. The fact that the princess was away from the public eye for more than two months, however, led part of the public to speculate about her health. A manipulated photo published by the Palácio’s profile on Mother’s Day reinforced conspiracy theories. The Palace claims, however, that the princess “is fine”.
