Accompanying her boyfriend and relaxing with friends was a dream for Cristina Ferreira during days spent in Miami and the Turks and Caicos islands. However, returning to Portugal brought an unexpected setback – a storm that ruined the end of the vacation.
Catarina Duarte, who was traveling with the presenter, shared the challenges faced on Instagram: “Hello, Miami. It was difficult to get there”, he started by writing to the travel agent. He further reported: “Airport closed since yesterday due to storm. Of course, our flight had to be delayed by several hours and it would be a very hectic journey.“.
Flights arriving in Miami from the Turks and Caicos Islands this Saturday faced significant delays. The flight that Cristina Ferreira was expected to board, scheduled to land at 3:49 pm, only arrived at 9:36 pm. Due to the delay, the TVI star was unable to catch the connection to Lisbon, which would leave at 5:20 pm. She will have to wait for the next flight to Lisbon, arriving only at 5:35 am on Monday, the day she is scheduled to return to TVI.
