Despite having stopped following her husband Daniel Alves on social media, Joana Sanz posted her first record with the Brazilian after the former player’s release from prison on Monday last week. In a post on Instagram, the model published a photo holding hands with Daniel Alves.

According to the program ‘Fiesta’, on ‘Telecinco’, Joana Sanz had already met with Daniel Alves after the Brazilian had paid bail to be released on provisional release. The portal reported that the model had visited the former full-back at her home in Barcelona last weekend.

Since the Brazilian’s rape case came to light, Joana and Daniel Alves have experienced ups and downs in their relationship. In fact, the model even indicated the end of their marriage, but later gave up on separating because “she didn’t want to leave her husband aside in this difficult situation”.

In March last year, Joana had indicated the end of her marriage with the former player. She posted a handwritten letter on her Instagram, where she says that she loves and will always love her husband, but states that she is ending a stage in her life that began on May 18, 2015, the date on which the two began dating.

However, Joana Sanz got back together with the player and received letters from Daniel Alves every two weeks. The last one was even shared on social media by the model and contained a declaration of love: “For a kiss from a skinny girl, I would give anything. For a kiss from her, even if it was just one. Where to be, whatever, whatever, whatever, but with you by my side always. I love you.”

Daniel Alves and Joana met in 2015 and got married two years later, in Ibiza. Joana is the player’s second wife. When the sexual assault case came into the spotlight, the model made several posts on her social media that talked about “hanging in there.” At the time, the Spanish woman was criticized for allegedly supporting her husband.

Three days before Daniel Alves’ pre-trial detention was ordered, on January 20, 2023, Joana had lost her mother, who had a tumor in her uterus. When the player was arrested, the model even recorded a video expressing messages of support for the difficult time he is going through and also posted a photo holding hands with the player with the caption “together”.
