Christiane Torloni, 67, is no longer a Globo employee. The actress announced on the networks on Monday afternoon (1st) the end of her fixed and exclusive contract with the broadcaster. She used a video of her participation in the program “The Masked Singer Brasil”, the day before, to talk about her departure from the company.
“And with this very fun moment I end, with a flourish, my partnership with TV Globo, which in the 1970s was called Venus Platinada!”, began Torloni in the text. The actress now joins the team of artists who start working for a specific job at the broadcaster.
She highlighted the soap opera “Gina”, where she gained her first protagonist and acknowledged having lived through one of Globo’s best times. “I’m proud to have lived through the Golden Era of a company that had the best of its time! It’s worth checking out Fragmentos, from Globoplay, with images of ‘Gina’ (1978), my first protagonist,” she commented.
Christiane mentioned other important work in the house and thanked them. “I am grateful to everyone who contributed and who continues to support me. I learned that my Art, more than entertainment, is Consolation and Hope for many who live alone, hospitalized or in nursing homes for the elderly. My vocation is my North! Let’s continue.”
