Despite everything, Cristina is not free from the famous haters who have already criticized her boyfriend.
Indifferent to the comments, the presenter highlighted a phrase by writer Miguel Esteves Cardoso, in which he reflects on the way the Portuguese deal with happiness.
“Happiness, in Portugal, is considered a kind of madness. Why? Because the Portuguese, when they see a happy person, think that he or she is making fun of them. More precisely: of their misery. It doesn’t occur to them that can be happy without it being at someone else’s expense”.
