Mia Rose assured that she has a great relationship with her ex-husband, Miguel Cristovinho, highlighting the benefits of this closeness, especially for her son, little Mateus.
The digital influencer addressed the subject in an interview she gave to Rita de Coelho Vieira’s podcast.
“I don’t like living with resentment. I don’t like living with resentment, I think the only person you’re affecting is yourself and your son”, noted Mia.
“There are many stories that make me so sad because parents are more focused on their journey, on their story, than on what they are going to give their children”, he adds, ensuring that in his case he always put “Matthew first”.
“When you choose your son above everything you are feeling, everything passes. You forgive, you no longer have grudges, resentment. I really like my son’s father, I will always like him, I will always love him in a certain way”, he argued.
In the same conversation, he also said that “no one can say anything bad about Miguel in front of him”, since there is no reason for that to happen.
“There are people for whom friendship doesn’t make sense, but having a good relationship… I have a good relationship with Miguel. […] The other day we went to a park together, he with his girlfriend, me with my fiancé. This takes time, [mas] as long as you get to that point, it will only benefit your family”, he argued.
Mia showed understanding towards people who have not yet managed to build a positive relationship with their ex-partners, stating that it is “difficult” and that it “takes work”, but that it is worth it.
“My son is a happy child, he doesn’t question the fact that his father and I aren’t together”, he revealed, stating that he has a great relationship with Cristovinho’s girlfriend.
