Splash’s report analyzed collection processes and identified several debts owed to the Union and the City of São Paulo. Among the actions are ISS (Service Tax), Establishment Inspection Fee and Social Security debts.
Social security tax debts total R$ 188,401.79, according to information from the National Treasury. Debts owed to the City of São Paulo reach R$ 549,861.79 — amounts calculated until March 1, 2023.
There are two charges relating to the garbage collection fee outstanding at the TJ-SP (Court of Justice of São Paulo). In the first, in 2021, the city hall of the capital of São Paulo charges R$21,000. In the other, filed in 2023, the charge is R$24,000.
Debt with ISS (Service Tax), a tax charged by the municipality, reaches 486,633.63 — considering the period from 2016 to 2020. “The Attorney General’s Office of the Municipality of São Paulo informs that all credits registered in active debt are subject to collection, judicially or extrajudicially”, responded to City Hall, after questioning the report, at the beginning of March.
According to a former employee interviewed by Splash, Gal owned 90% of the business and Wilma owned 10%. She, who worked in the companies’ administrative department, states that it was the artist who decided what would be paid.
