Taylor Swift joins the list of billionaires

Taylor Swift has officially joined the billionaires club. The American singer-songwriter was included in “Forbes” magazine’s annual list of billionaires.

According to the publication, Swift raised around 1.1 billion dollars (1.02 billion euros) with the “Eras Tour”, a tour that will take place in Portugal on May 24 and 25, at Estádio da Luz, and with the sales of its musical catalogue. The values ​​of your properties also enter this equation.

In a year that, according to “Forbes” editor Chase Peterson-Withorn, “was incredible for the richest in the world”, Taylor Swift did not debut alone in this exclusive club: former basketball player “Magic” Johnson and designer Christian Louboutin are also present on the list. Swift is, however, the first musical artist to achieve billionaire status solely through her songs and performances.

At the top of the “Forbes” list is Frenchman Bernard Arnault, executive director of LVMH, the largest luxury goods company in the world: he made a profit of 233 billion dollars (216 billion euros) in the last year alone. The top 10 is completed by the names of Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, Mukesh Ambani and Larry Page.
