Brian McCardie, the Scottish actor best known for his roles in ‘Rob Roy’, ‘Line of Duty’ and ‘Outlander’, has died. He was 59 years old.
The news was confirmed by the artist’s sister, Sarah McCardie, on April 30th through a share on X (formerly Twitter).
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian James McCardie, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to many,” he wrote.
“A passionate and brilliant actor on stage and screen, Brian loved his work and touched many lives. He left too soon,” he continues.
“We love him and will miss him very much,” he adds.
According to the international press, the death was sudden, and its causes have not yet been revealed.
