Ana Arrebentinha celebrates her mother’s birthday, who died in January

Ain Arrebentinha turned to social media, this Saturday, April 27th, to mark the birthday of her mother, who died last January.

The comedian shared a photo of her parents’ wedding day and in the caption she began by writing: “Today is your birthday, you didn’t like your birthday, I never asked you why… I also never wanted to know how old you were. For years, When they asked me, I couldn’t say, I don’t know if it was because I was afraid of losing you… Today I know, you were 62 years old.”

“Mom, mom, mom… I miss repeatedly saying mom and hearing ‘Cristina, what happened?’, and I would answer ‘nothing mom, it was just to hear you’. I miss your voice calling me, I miss I miss long conversations… I miss you, my mother”, Ana then added.

Towards the end, the comedian said that all she had left was her “memories” and left the doubt about the possibility of continuing to be heard by her mother even after her death. “I believe so, that you protect me wherever I am, that you guide me and put me in the right place, with the right people. I know you are there, I feel that you are… I feel you with every change in my life, every goal of my life”, he highlighted.

“I confess that emptiness makes the heart shrink with so much longing. I love you forever. As José Luís Peixoto would say: ‘as long as one of us lives, there will always be five of us at the table’. Congratulations, mom”, concluded Ana Arrebentinha.
