HArvey Weinstein was hospitalized days after it emerged that a New York court overturned one of his rape convictions.
According to Arthur Aidala, the former Hollywood producer’s lawyer, Harvey was transferred to a hospital in Manhattan last Friday due to “a kind of health disaster”, the BBC reports.
“It looks like he needs a lot of help physically. He has a lot of problems,” the lawyer said.
Weinstein is now undergoing several health examinations and is under observation.
It is worth remembering that despite having seen the annulment of one of his convictions by the New York court, the former producer will remain in prison, given that his 2022 convictions for sexual crimes in California remain intact. Harvey Weinstein has been accused of sexual misconduct by more than 100 women.
