A The conservatorship to which Britney Spears was subject – which was exercised by her father, Jamie Spears – should not have been terminated for the sake of the artist’s mental health, several sources indicate.
Although the conditions imposed by the guardianship of the ‘Pop princess’ proved to be too strict, according to these sources, Britney suffers from serious mental problems that require special monitoring and care.
As Page Six highlights, people close to the singer fear that she is consuming alcohol and drugs.
“I hate to say this, but the way things are going – this is what we feared”noted one of the sources in question.
It should be noted that this week, just hours after the end of Britney and Sam Asghari’s divorce process was confirmed, paramedics were called to a mansion in Hollywood to help the artist, after she injured her ankle.
Although Britney assured that the injuries were caused by an accident, the press reported the possibility that she had been injured during an argument with her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz.
Remember that Britney Spears’ conservatorship, which lasted 13 years, ended in November 2021 by court order after a long process.
