Saturday is vaccination day in the Federal District. In total there will be 19 service locations: Santa Maria, Gama, Riacho Fundo I and II, Recanto das Emas, Samambaia, Ceilândia, Estrutural, Águas CLaras, Guará, Candangolândia, Cruzeiro, Plano Piloto, Sobradinho and Itapoã. While children and adolescents aged 10 to 14 can take the dengue vaccine, people in other age groups, from babies to the elderly, will be able to update their vaccination records.
On Sunday (17), there will be no immunization. But, on Monday (18), vaccination rooms reopen with an offer of vaccines against dengue, covid-19 and other diseases, including BCG, which will not be administered on Saturday.
It is worth noting that, throughout the weekend, patients with dengue symptoms will be able to seek care in tents and in Basic Health Units (UBSs) with extended opening hours.
